The Tokay vine line involves local villages, growers and producers of wine from the region, as well as cultural and historical monuments, wine cellars, wine-bars, gastro and accommodation providers, travel agencies, tradesmen, associations participate in development of Tokay vineyard region. Tokay vine line is a part of The Slovak wine region of Tokay. The Tokay vineyard region, with its area only 907 ha, is the smallest of vineyard regions of Slovakia and the world. It is comprised of 7 townships in the Trebišov district: Bara, Čerhov, Černochov, Malá Tŕňa, Slovenské Nové Mesto, Veľká Tŕňa and Viničky. Other villages are parts of this region as well - Borša, Zemplín, Ladmovce a. o. In the Tokay vineyard region three basic grape varieties, Furmint, Lipovina and Yellow muscatel, are grown and variety, dry and sweet wines are made of them. The Tokay vine line spreads from the town Trebišov, through the villages of historical Tokay area: Bara, Čerhov, Černochov, Malá Tŕňa, Slovenské Nové Mesto, Veľká Tŕňa a Viničky.
