Mixed Chorus, in 10 years of its existence, has achieved many awards not only in Slovakia but abroad as well. Chorus is active in church services, on different undertakings, Christmas Carrols and festivals. First competitive performance of the Chorus was held in Námestovo in 2003 at XIII International Namestovo Music Festival on which the Chorus fitted in Silver Area. In December 2003, the Chorus took part at IV International Festival of Advent and Christmas Music in Prague on which they fitted in Gold Area and became an absolute winner in its category. The Chorus awarded a special prize from the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic for representation with excellent success at international competitions in 2004. The Chorus awarded Gold Medal at XXXIV International Festival of Songs in Olomouc in 2006. The Chorus awarded Silver and Gold Medal at II International Festival of Chorus in Bratislava in 2007. At the same year, the Chorus represented Slovakia at XXIII International Festival of Youth in Ferriere, Italia. At present the Chorus is practising for XIV International Competition of Choruses in Vrbno pod Predědem and as well for International Festival of Choruses in Roden, Netherlands.
